Q. What is new for the 2016 Race for the Cure?
   A. Here is a list of some new and exciting changes for the 2016 Race for the Cure:

  • Fundraising Reward: We are so excited to announce that this year, we will be rewarding our supporters for all of the hard work they put into raising those critical funds. Anyone who raises $150 or more will receive a one-of-a-kind Susan G. Komen hat with a modified version of our 2016 Race theme: I live here. I race here. I save lives here. You can proudly wear your hat on Race Day to show your commitment to this cause. After all, we couldn't do what we do without you. Click here for more information!
  • Packet Mailing: After much research and discussion, we have decided to change the packet mailing to an option that participants who register by April 17th can choose for a $5 fee. As we continue to strive to be the best stewards of the funds raised, altering this option will be a significant savings in Race planning. We thank you for understanding.
  • Online Registration: Online registration will remain open longer this year and will not close until 6:00am on Friday, May 6th, the day before the Race.
  • Packet Pick-Up Expo Times: We have extended the hours of our Packet Pick-Up Expo. On Wednesday, May 4th, and Thursday, May 5th, the expo hours will be from 12pm-7pm. On Friday, May 6th, the expo hours will be from 11am-4pm.
  • Suzy's Garden Rocks: This year, in addition to the flowers to decorate, we will be selling river rocks for $5! This is a great way to honor those who have fought breast cancer, thank a co-survivior who has supported you or celebrate team members for joining you in the fight. Get creative! Your rock will be displayed in Suzy's Garden on Race Day. Click here to order your rock or flower today!
  • Survivor Hats: Based on Affiliate and participant feedback, Komen Corporate has decided to suspend the Survivior hats. They do understand it has become a tradition for many and plan to explore a new giveaway that is equally meaningful for Survivors.
  • New Office Location: We've moved! Our lovely new office is located at 1091 S. Cimarron Road, Suite A4, Las Vegas, NV 89145. We are in the business center located behind Calico Jacks, on the corner of Cimarron and Charleston. Our phone number will remain the same, 702.822.2324.
